Interactive 90-day satellite wildfire trend analysis & spatial Web Audio sonification
Country: Global Time-Lapse
An interactive Web Audio tool that converts 90 days of NASA VIIRS satellite wildfire observations into spatial audio and trend analytics.
Analyzes 90-day time-lapse data across 19 global country boundaries, tracking daily hotspot counts and peak Fire Radiative Power (MW).
Maps fire density non-linearly to 5 synth layers: pitch-mapped lead, detuned pad chords, sub-bass rumble, flame wind sweeps, and ember crackles.
Hotspots on the radar correspond to geographic longitudes, panning stereo sound from West (Left Ear) to East (Right Ear).
Render and download high-definition 90-day .wav audio files or export daily CSV summary reports with one click.
